Charity & Corporate Social Responsibility

Our teams often get involved in charity initiatives to raise money for important causes and provide support to the communities that need it the most.

At Victorstone, we believe that effective interventions can break the cycle for the world’s neediest people – and we firmly believe in the importance and benefits of being charitable.

London Marathon 2022

Fokrul Islam (Managing Director) completed the 2022 London Marathon running on behalf of Able Child Africa and raising a tremendous £1,500 along the way.

During the course of 2022, Fokrul overcame a long series of injuries, setbacks and even had to train against medical advice. To then go on and complete the London Marathon was an amazing feat.

Charitable. Initiatives.

Our teams often get involved in local, national and international charity initiatives to raise money for important causes and provide time and practical support to the communities that need it the most.

We are proud of our partnerships with a variety of foundations and are always willing to look at new opportunities wherever we can.

Hands across the water.

Back in 2020, Managing Director Fokrul Islam and Head of Sales Martin Press became the first and only riders from the UK to join a 500km fundraising cycle ride along the Mekong River in Thailand to raise money for orphaned children.

Property professionals from Australia, where Hands Across the Water is based, also took part in the incredible five-day-long feat, which is otherwise known as the Digital Live Ride.

Between them, Fokrul and Martin raised nearly £10,000 for the cause.

Unfortunately, the pair could not jump back on their bikes in 2021, as the event was cancelled due to the coronavirus crisis. They hope to hit the pedals once again in 2022.

Restless Beings

For many years, Victorstone has supported the humanitarian group RestlessBeings, which runs a variety of initiatives to support some of the world’s most marginalised communities.

Our staff have raised tens of thousands of pounds for the charity to date. Their most recent fundraising project involved cycling 157 miles and over 7500ft of climbs throughout the capital and into the surrounding countryside. Their journeys raised over £5,000 for women, children and elderly of Rohingya in Burma. The Rohingya have been persecuted and abused, and millions of them have been forced to flee to safety in refugee camps in Bangladesh. This donation will go some way to ensuring their safety and quality of life.
